Key responsibilities
Develop and drive procurement strategy
Define procurement strategy aligned with company objectives. Map procurement activities, define sourcing policy (local, international, dual sourcing) and track procurement KPIs (savings, compliance, timelines, quality).
Strategic negotiation and contracting
Negotiate framework contracts and strategic agreements with key suppliers. Lead complex tenders and optimise TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) rather than purchase price alone.
Supplier portfolio management
Develop and maintain a performing and reliable supplier panel. Evaluate and audit suppliers (quality, ESG, risks, performance). Manage strategic supplier relationships (SRM).
Responsible and sustainable procurement
Deploy responsible procurement policy aligned with CSR strategy. Assess suppliers on ESG criteria. Ensure due diligence and regulatory compliance.
Procurement team management and development
Lead and develop the procurement team (recruitment, training, assessment). Structure procurement processes and deploy tools (e-procurement, SRM, spend analytics). Build procurement culture.
