Act quickly on good profiles

The best candidates don't stay on the market for long. If a profile scores 85%+, contact them within 48 hours. A delayed response is one of the main causes of losing good candidates for SMEs.
What CV formats does Aurelia accept?
Aurelia accepts the most common formats: PDF, DOCX, DOC, PNG and JPG. For images (scanned CVs), Aurelia uses OCR (optical character recognition) to extract text. Accuracy is slightly lower for poor quality scans. It's recommended to ask candidates to send their CVs in PDF for optimal extraction.
How many CVs can you import simultaneously?
Aurelia allows bulk import of dozens of CVs simultaneously. Depending on your subscription, limits vary. Bulk import is ideal when you've posted an offer on multiple job boards and receive a large volume of applications. Aurelia processes and parses all CVs automatically, usually in a few minutes.
Is automatic pre-scoring reliable?
Pre-scoring is a starting indicator, not a final verdict. Its reliability depends on the quality of criteria defined in step 1 and CV clarity. A well-scored candidate deserves your attention, but a low score doesn't necessarily mean rejection: the candidate may have an atypical background or a poorly written CV. Use the score as a prioritisation filter, not as automatic decision.
How to professionally handle rejected applications?
Aurelia can generate personalised and kind rejection emails for non-selected candidates. This is important for your employer brand: disappointed but well-treated candidates can become ambassadors or reapply later. The standard rejection email thanks the candidate, briefly explains (without hurtful detail) why the profile doesn't fit this time, and leaves the door open for the future.
