Key Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance
Execute planned maintenance tasks: inspections, lubrication, component replacement. Follow maintenance schedules and checklists to prevent equipment failure and extend machine lifespan.
Equipment troubleshooting and repair
Diagnose and fix equipment faults: mechanical issues, electrical problems, hydraulic leaks. Use diagnostic tools and technical documentation to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Maintenance documentation
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, record repairs, track spare parts inventory. Document equipment history for warranty and compliance purposes.
Safety compliance
Follow all safety protocols and regulations: lockout/tagout procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard identification. Maintain a safe workplace and report safety concerns.
Spare parts and equipment management
Manage spare parts inventory, identify needed replacements, coordinate with suppliers. Maintain tools and test equipment in good working order.
