Introduction to the Architect profession
The architect is a professional who designs, plans and supervises the execution of construction projects. True orchestrator of the building, they combine artistic creativity, technical expertise and compliance with regulatory standards to create functional, sustainable and aesthetically successful spaces.
In France, the practice of architecture is a regulated profession requiring registration with the Order of Architects. The architect supports clients from initial design to site completion, mastering town planning regulations, construction standards (accessibility, RE 2020, fire safety) and coordination of numerous stakeholders.
